Mariah Michelle
Morse
Jul 14, 1983 — Aug 26, 2026
Irving
Mariah Morse, 43, of Newark, TX, passed away on August 26, 2026, surrounded by love after a courageous journey with cancer. Mariah was so much more than the circumstances of her final years. She was funny, stubborn, loving, and entirely herself. She had a way of leaving a little piece of herself with the people she met, whether through her humor, her kindness, a plant she had given them, or simply the memories she created along the way. Mariah loved the things that made her smile—frogs, Shrek, the color green, beautifully painted nails, and, most especially, her beloved dog, Lily. Those who knew her knew that loving Mariah meant knowing her personality came with plenty of laughter, determination, and a stubborn streak that stayed with her right through the end. She was deeply loved by her family and by more people than she probably ever realized. Her absence will be felt in countless little moments: in familiar jokes, favorite things, shared memories, and especially in the quiet places where someone expects to hear from her and remembers that they won’t. Mariah is survived by Vickie Groom and Rusty Morse, Bridgitte Clevenger, Vince Morse and Benjamin Morse, Kourtney Davis, John Tyler Morse, Julie Morse, Allie Morse and Allison Morse, along with her beloved Lily and many extended family members and friends who will carry her memory with them. A celebration of Mariah’s life will be held TBD. In keeping with who Mariah was, those attending are encouraged to remember her with laughter, stories, love, and maybe a little bit of green. Mariah was loved fiercely, and she will be missed beyond measure.
