Shirley Arnold, of Irving, passed away Tuesday, August 19th surrounded by her family. She was born October 21, 1935 in Ft. Worth, Texas. Shirley is preceded in death by her husband Billie Ray Arnold in 2014. She is survived by her children Shari Arnold of Austin, Larry Arnold and wife Angie of Irving, Ron Arnold and wife Vicky of Altus, Oklahoma, Vicki Rance and husband Jeff of Plano, Pam Cott and husband Peter of Coppell, and Cathy Pierce and husband Craig of Lewisville as well as 15 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Shirley was a long time member of South MacArthur Church of Christ in Irving and then Riverside Church of Christ in Coppell. She and her husband Bill impacted many young lives through their day school in Irving, It’s a Child’s World. After which, Shirley ran Pamela’s boutique in Irving and then Shirley A boutique in Irving. She loved baking and having her family in her home for holidays and celebrations. Her claim to fame was her chocolate chip cookies and waffles. She will be greatly missed by her family who loved her very much. “Your beauty and love chase after me every day of my life.
